The Planning Commission will be conducting a public hearing to consider adoption of the draft ordinance on the evening of January 11, 2022. The Planning Commission meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 500 Fourth Avenue N.E., Austin, MN 55912.

The City Council will consider adoption of the Unified Development Code during their meeting on October 18, 2022. The City Council meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 500 Fourth Avenue N.E., Austin, MN 55912.

October 24, 2019: Project Kick-Off
City officials, including members from the Planning Commission and City Council, along with the project consultant team, participated in a bus tour around Austin, followed by a debrief and meeting with city officials. A survey of Planning Commission and City Council members was collected to gather additional feedback.
